Music

I can work with recordings (fully licensed) or with a live band. 

The American equipment that I use for recorded music is “top of the range”  and has many extra features which allow me to control volume and quantity without taking my eyes off the dancers.  This is particularly beneficial for teaching new moves. My huge collection of music, now all on mini-disc for swift access, includes lots of traditional and modern country tunes for the couple dances, plus current pop and country hits for the Solo Line dances and also classic tunes for some of the square dances and the couple dances in circles.

My amplifier and speaker allow me to cover even difficult halls with ease. Venues without enough room for a band can still  have great clear sound this way.  My radio mic allows me to be wherever I am needed.

If you prefer the thrill of live music then I can bring along Good Parking, the band with whom I call regularly. We have worked together regularly over the last few years so that we have a very good rapport, essential for a really fun evening. Based on the classic fiddle-and-keyboard sound of traditional music, they whirl out wild jigs or slide into a smooth waltz and everything in between.
